I would go further and ask for a whole playable black civilization (or subfaction within Men). In fact I may draw some concept art for what that civilization's units might look like.

Coming up soon (probably Wednesday when I come home to a good scanner---right now I'm at my parents' house for Christmas) is a black spearman inspired by szebus's request for "Bantu" mercenaries in DoF. His costume design is inspired mostly by ancient Egyptian culture although there are some other African influences as well. It's a pity I don't have any modding skills because I would love to get such units into the game!

Here's the concept art for the hypothetical black DoF soldier I mentioned earlier:

His outfit is mostly Egyptian-inspired although the shield's design was influenced by the Maasai culture of Kenya. If only someone would mod this into the game!
