Better spawn rates?

It feels like it is quicker to simply just buy mercs than spawn troops. Maybe the orc hut should spawn 2 at a time?

orcs are already lucky to get free units. spawning more units would make them overpowered,

Keep in mind with Orcs it`s about mixing free untis with untis you pay for.

So make sure you have 4-5 Goblin Huts producing goblins and 30-40 Huts (they increase spawn rate for Laborers and Marauders at your Grand Hut). In addition build a number 3-4 of Ogre Dwellings - so you can buy Ogres as well.

Every 2 minutes - you would be getting 5 goblin battalions, you can purchase 4 Ogres and get 2 free laborer/marauders.

my pop cap has slowed the spawn rates to a very very very slow rate...which makes the "free" aspect sorta useless.

that's what happens if you keep nearly full pop in town. that's when it slows down.

As orcs you can just start making troops out of your villagers any time, I've got 5 war halls in my orc town providing me with a fast stream of troops whenever I want them, also i put troops in my town and don't leave it iwth just villagers in it

How is it fast if you have to wait for 1 villager to spawn? ;\
