3D Software

Hi, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on 3D modelling software, atm I'm currently learning to design 3D models and well there seems to be so many programs out there hard to pick what to use.

What Would You Recommend.....

Also my background is graphics design mainly with Adobe collection.
