Unit Loss Formula

Could you please shed some light on this? Some of my other players suggested it has to do with how much money and resources you carry on your army.


I fought one battle at ~330 str with around 500 of each resource and 500 gold. All my units died, but I only lost 2 halbadiers.

Second battle was ~330 str, and about 200 of each resource and gold. I lost all but 6 of my units.


Just wondering to what extent it is random, and controlled.
