Default Question about Army Sizes.

So ive been reading how you can give your units items, level them up, and all kinds of customization. That makes me wonder how big are our armies going to be? Is it going to take like 3hours just to level every unit and distribute items and such?

I can't say I know for sure (I may not have read what you read), but since "units" in an army are actually trained and organized into battalions, you won't have to upgrade all, say, 20 of your elven archers. Instead, you would upgrade 2 elven archer battalions consisting of 10 archers each.

K that's good to know XD because I was worried if you had like 200 troops you would have to level each one individually.

Another question about armies. Will specific units counter others? and if so is there anywhere we can currently see the stats and how each counters a different type of unit. Example. Pikeman +bonus vs Cavalry (or mounted units).

yeah each battalion have a bonus against certain types of other battalions
Check this orc list out http://www.reverieworld.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2196.
Here they explain which orc battalions give certain bonuses against other types.

Thank you for this link this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for to min/max or start to at least get an idea of what kind of min/maxing can be done in this game. Because definitely this game looks like what I have been looking for since Lord of ultima-te fail.

This is a related question.. Will there be single commander units? (Stronger units that perhaps give bonuses to their battallions?) And if there are, can these units get their own specific upgrades - or do they just get upgraded with the rest of the battallion?

I'm basically wondering if you can have leaders that are upgraded to be really strong in and of themselves. Sortof 'hero' units, if you will.

Hero units are actually a major part of the game, as they essentially act as your avatar for communicating with town leadership and other NPCs. My understanding is that you will only have one hero unit and he can be equipped with various items or leveled up in power somehow, for all I know in a Warcraft III fashion.

If one of your armies is near a town and needs to interact with it, but your hero is with a different army elsewhere, a temporary "spokesperson", or army commander, unit will represent you to that particular town while you are visiting it.
