Also, in french the vowels can have an acute or grave accent, or a circumflex. Also in some cases a c can have the small s attatched to the bottom (no idea what the name is) to show its an s sound.

Cedilla, ç, which I insist on using when writing façade, and I also use ô in rôle, é in élite, œ in fœtus, and both ï and é in naïveté! Overcomplicating English ftw!

Also I dont use them as I am far too lazy to search character map or learn their codes... the only variations I use are; á, é, í, ó, ú. And thats easy, a matter of ctrl + alt + vowel.
