Basically it seems to come down to whether someone is qualified and desires the chance to get some experience. It's not like anyone's arm is being twisted. Good luck to those with the qualifications that decide to go for it. Sounds like a blast and if I had more experience with social networking/ computer languages I'd totally go for it.
