Mid-late 2010 I think.

I think the gold milestone might be that it's ready for beta.

Not quite. When a game "goes gold," development is 100% complete. At this point, the game is sent our for mass production and will hit shelves a couple weeks early.

It won't take this long to get to the point where we can publish a recorded game, but it will take a couple months of balancing, polishing, and finishing all, or at least most, of the game mechanics. It will be perfectly playable earlier on in the betas, but this is more for testing and not something we want to publicize.

I am pleased, however, to announce that we have plans for other, fully narrated teaser videos which we will show in early 2010.

Wow love the commentary, looks great although i possibly would like to see a few screens of them in action in a defence? Etc. Or possibly a video of each?

Anyways great job they all look amazing. The orc looks the most defensible. But i think the elven looks the grandest and would probably be my choice. Gets me away from the typical human race play
