The big DoF contributions thread

Well I never really took any drawing lessons, but even though I am self taught I think I can contribute a bit.

As some of you may remember, I won a key to the first closed beta with my entry to the "Create a Race" contest, which was the Kareetheans. (-Contest Thread-)

I present to you, the Kareethean Queen "Raika, the Seventh Witch"!, in her demon form (She sprouts the giant needles, wings and blades all over her body, which pretty much changes her posture).

A model of this would be very hard to make indeed, so I am guessing she probably won't make it as a mod.

Details

• I outlined the small parts so they can be noticeable.
• The things in the lower part of her thorax are her eggs.
• All the gray spikes you see are actually blades sprouting from her.
• Those weird things on the wings are actually holes and rips.

very nice sneaky squirrel. Here is another update to my drawing. again comments are welcomed and I will shade it in hopefully today and I will start the elf pic today. I think for the elf I will just draw a single character.

That's awesome. I used the screenshots from the media fair and I couldn't find any close ups to the large orc. Now that I do I can improve it. thanks. this makes me want to model a small scene.

I don't see the catapult in the drawing, or whatever it is in the screen shot ;p.

Where did the catapult or whatever it is back there come from?

You could easily add fingers to your elf, unless here is wearing gloves of course.

What catapult? Maybe it is a quest item from the map, you have to hunt a massive Warg that attacked a group of Orcs moving around a old catapult. :P

Think about adding grass into your picture to add a 3D depth feeling to it, its hard to see where the crossbowman and swordsman is distance away from the ogre, with the screenshot you can see how far away they are due to the grass.
