I would love to see this done, Flags and banners are a must in a game like this and give loads of options for things like a flag bearer unit in battle to give a small bonus to troops while he lives or a central flag within the castle that must be taken and held by the enemy giving more options to win and more options for defenders to create killing zones on route to flag.

each faction should have unique pictures and backrounds like elve having a tree icon, leaf icon unicorn icon ect

Yeah just where you can customize a banner with some things the game has.

It doesn't have to be stuff the player can upload himself. but it be nice if you have 2 of the same faction fighting each other, but still have different banners.

Small things like that make a great game

Having a banner or flag that you could customize would be a great way to let a kingdom stand out, I think it's a good idea.
