Best way is to release videos, show off aspect of the games.
Get sites themselves to test it, even if its not gamespot you show it off and they'll put it in the news. But yes gamespot would be costly as hell. |

Another way is, We the players advertise in other forums and sites where we can for free, just becouse We like the game and want it to have a long life thus we play it

I'm not sure Reverie have enough for a marketing campaign, Sims is published by EA so they have plenty of money to spend. It's also a series thats proven well so the money invested in advertisement is safer as they will be pretty sure they will make it back in revenue. As long as people know the game exists and can see all of the awesome features it has to offer it should attract people. Not all games need a lot of money spent on marketing, the game should sell itself once people know its avaliable. Plus, a lot of films/games use heavy marketing to show off a few cool features and exciting cinematics to promote a game thats no-where near as good as its advertised.
