I have purchased this for a friend and he has the same issue. He is on super fast broadband and after 2 hours of download was only 7% any ideas??

Unfortunately no - no torrent, but we do have several download mirrors: http://dof.reverieworld.com/download.php

Odd that you are getting such low speeds. In our tests we get 1.2mb/s from our main server, and 0.7-1.6 from the mirrors.
