I got this game but there is no steam key yet, so I lose anything if I wait?

Hello guys I got this game and it came with a key for desura only for now.

I wanted to wait to use the Steam key that I will get "soon."

Do i lose any bonus if I wait for steam key? As in is there any bonus if I start playing now using my desura key?

You won`t loose anything if you wait, but you might as well start now. The game`s progress is stored online, and your Desura key will eventually become your Steam key. So all your progress e.t.c will carry over shall you choose to reinstall the game on Steam down the road.
