My village walls

When i build walls around my village they dont go away when i build new walls. i.e at the start i built wooden walls around my village but when i came to build stone walls the wooden walls did not go away please help

just wait to stone walls to complete all the layer

just to expand on mrtiggers answer theres 2 layers of walls one small one one big one they only get replaced when you do stone walls

These wooden palisade walls will only go away once u 100% finish building the current stone walls you are building. This makes sense so that u don`t end up with a large hole in a wall while the new layer of walls is building.
