game crashing

Anyone have an idea why after a few mins the game crashes? Using 6870 ati card win 7 64 bit with amd quad core 945 chip! It stars fine but after a few mins it crashes to black screen!

what is it during doing this exactly and can you provide the log1.txt as a attachment its in your DOF folder and i have also requested this to be moved to technical support to get the appropriate detection

I am just starting my online kingdom, doing the first few quests and building structures! It seems to crash randomly! Posted log1txt in bug reports.

I`m replying here after seeing your log in the other post. From what I can see from log it`s a random generic crash with some other process interfering.

What I would suggest is

1) Make sure you have the latest Direct X drivers
2) Don`t run other applications in the background when running DoF
3) Restart your Wireless Router if you are using one.
4) Try playing on lower visual settings - be sure to disable Weather Effects
5) Try starting a new town as Humans instead of Elves

Tried all of these things and the problem still persists!
