Just got the game
Is it better just to jump into the game and play in the online mode or is it better to play a few rounds of the castle siege/defend and the other mode before going online?

Well playing castle attack/defend is helpful to get the rough idea. Then Kingdom Wars gives you a feel for the world map/sieging with persistent armies etc. Or you can just jump in to online kingdom mode, the first several quests are set up to help folks get the hang of it.

I recommend play Online Kingdom
You can still play Single Player Battles between to get some Combat experience while your City builds up in backround

online mode because then you have the chat to ask for questions for anything until we finish our ingame tutorials. if your having trouble be sure to check the wiki (link inside game in help button when you are signed into a city) or come here and make a thread about it.
