krabs, any programming/scripting experience will be helpful.
Basically, if you know about if statements, for loops, tables and functions then the rest is just learning Lua syntax and the pre-defined functions available in Dawn of Fantasy.
Myself and the other devs will of course be here to answer your scripting questions when the time comes.
