Finally elven showcase =). I chose the mountain region since its more about magic, has nice natural defenses and ofc you cant ignore armour bonus =P.
The second my fav. is first region. It has nice nature and high-wood elf combination but with not much natural defenses and so little bonuses and no armour bonuses looks like it is lacking little. It would be nice if had some kind of river/smaller lake natural defense (combined with wall). Just one question here, are there any trees with leaves or just pointy ones?
I am just surprised that there is no region that gives bonus to archer units (or anti archers thing).
