Orc Fort issue

hello! my orc paliside walls seem to have stopped being built even though i have enough resources.

this now leaves a gap where anything or anyone can walk freely through it.

so the fact all ranged units can shoot through walls doesnt seem like an issue that needs to be resolved? what happend to holding the gates until the hordes come rushing in.. there is none of that...

yeah but then as i charged he would force me back...

yeah but then as i charged he would force me back with the other half of his army which are all dwarven axemen. any loses are then healed by the enchanters as i retreat. hopeless.
