I think that it sounds like a good idea at first. But When you think about it for a bit, it really isn't. Because you end up with what i think will be an unfair system of doing things.

I can't wait to see how all 3 races play one. I am going to pick up a copy of the game when it goes live. Most like goign to head down to my local gamestop and pre-order a copy soon.

Elves are always a cool race. So I think that it comes down to what race you like more. But as far as how manly they are.... I say on par with the other 2 races from what i have read on them so far.
