An RTS is only as good as it's controls and interface
Extra Credits once said in a recent episode
"A game that controls terribly is a terrible game"
I want to love DoF, I spent money on it and also bought crowns primarily because I wanted to support it, but it has some serious problems, the interface needs to be reworked with suggestions from other threads and the control scheme really could use a lot of work, I mean I shouldn't have to search all over the map for that one misplaced warden and fight with the controls to select the unit I want to level up.
Let's see what the pathfinding patch brings first.
I agree, these circular menus around each building and on the bottom left for units are very slow. I also wish they had a hotkey system where I can view and edit hotkeys for each button much like many other rts games out there.
Do you also have an issue with commands having a delay? Or could that just be me and my graphics settings?
