Ruin Vine ?
I know the developers listen to feedback and that is great. But the Ruin Vine is basically useless. I tested it 6 times on AI opponents. The enchanters have to be in melee range of the wall, and every single time I made the vine (not counting the enchanter casualties) it was destroyed basically instantly by archers. There is absolutely no point to make a ruin vine, over a bolt thrower, or a treant. There is no point at all. I have talked to others via the game who agree. If you want to make the ruin vine useful, let the enchanters make it behind their own lines, and then it goes off and randomly attacks a wall. As it it now, there is no point, none at all to make a ruin vine when a bolt thrower does the same thing, only better, at range, with no casualties. Elves are my favorite race, but they they get the shaft with the ruin vine. If anyone can offer a counter point where the ruin vine is more useful than bolt throwers/treants please do. But imo, they are completely useless.

i have used it several times and it only failed once. i sent them up with archers and worked great.

I never said it failed, I said it is useless and dies instantly. Unless you can tell me a situation where a ruin vine is better than bolt throwers or a treant, I am all ears.

Ok, were looking to see if this is a bug, or if we need to change how they work, if you have other questions or concerns email us

Honestly H11zone it would be much better if you could make it behind your lines and it randomly attacks a wall. As it is now, there is no point in making a ruin vine over a bolt thrower.
