Failed to contact key server error message
 
Hi,

I've had the game for about a week now and this morning when i went to play i recieved an error stating "failed to contact key server"

This is strange because i've been using my copy already for the past few days. Surely my CD shouldn't have just stopped working?

Steam cannot verify the integrity of the game cache for some reason either. It just freezes and doesn't do anything.

If anyone else has had this error or knows how to fix it please let me know.

Hmm, seems wierd. Did you try to reinstall game completely?

Also, try this:

I played fine, but now it crashes on startup
To fix this you would need to delete the Local Saved Data File
1) Click on the organizer button in any folder. And select Folder and Search options. Go to view, and under Hidden Files and Folders, or Drives - click show hidden files.
2) Now navigate to C:/users/YOUR USERNAME/AppData/local/DoF/
3) In that file, locate and delete file called local_saved_data and interfacedata.dat

Its ok, it seemed to fix itself after 6 hours or so.
