It's inevitable that such a time comes with every forum. At least it happened early and not later when it would've turned into a flame war until a moderator came on.

I like Sparrow. I just wish he would have behaved better.

The trick to good moderation is to come down hard enough to change behavior, but not so hard as to drive them away. They're still people, and can be interesting personalities on the board. It's easy to be a moderator when it's spammers and trolls you're dealing with, but these are the tough issues, where you want to get rid of the behavior, not the person.

Yeah. I just wish people could follow rules. It's not really that hard.
