Desert Orcs and Wood
 

I'm going to pick up this game when I get home today, and I have a question about my first race of choice: orcs in the desert. I know from reading around that orcs need a lot of wood, but that the desert doesn't have much wood. Out of curiosity, is this a large handicap, or is it pretty easy to get this resource from questing and trading?

It is not that much of a handicap and yes you can get plenty of resources from battles, trade and battles :). Orcs are much of a warrior type race so you'll battle a lot in PvP, PvE or Co-op.

If you build resource drop off things at every piece of forest you will be fine.
