patcher locking up and getting stuck

After reading some threads I fixed the problem with the unending updater updating loop.... Now I am having problems with the patcher. It has been stuck on the same files remaining/speed for probably an hour now.

Any solution to this other than restarting it? The last time I restarted the patcher it made me start from the beginning again.

would delete dofupdater folder in appdata and try again.

b0b - did you find a way around this?
Restarting the Update should save the progress of all the files you have downloaded. So best recommendations restart it after each file. Also I wanted to mention that we are having an extremely large number of people downloading updates right now - so this might effect download speed - as the patch files are fairly large - around 300mbs total)

My speeds really haven't dropped off, just randomly stops progressing and the speed doesn't change. I know I had a ton of problems with the patcher in beta so I guess I will just keep at it.

It "may" be continually downloading even when it is stopped up. Since it went from 5000 files to 126. Stayed at 126 for about 10 restarts and finally started to slowly go down again.

Very strange

Glad to hear you guys having the large number of people problem though.

Ah ok I think I know what happened- sounds like a beta installation related problem, but as long as u`ll get to fully update it won`t matter anymore. Hopefully we`ll see you in-game soon:)
