Fantasy Friday - Loading Screen Artwork & Updates
Hey all! As I'm sure you've seen, it's been a busy week for Dawn of Fantasy. Reverie's let hundreds of new players into the beta and have been engaging in some epic multiplayer battles all week - apparently for "testing purposes." In addition to this and fixing numerous bugs thanks to the help of our wonderful beta testers, we have released a recent beta patch introducing AI armies initiating attacks on traveling player armies (originally AI attacks were only concentrated on the homelands), updated the new hero models and advisor cinematics, added new visual options to the game menu, added amazing new loading screen artwork, streamlined the research system, and implemented a new style for tool-tips to convey all in-game information. By this point, I can assure you that Reverie is even more excited for release than you are, and are working non-stop to get to that point. So, it won't be much longer and we hope you'll be there in the beta to join in the countdown with each new patch! :D
Multiplayer skirmishes aren't quite ready to show off in full glory, so today we'll show off some of the new art assets, with beautiful photo-realistic (perhaps a premonition for DOF2? :D) loading screens that really bring Dawn of Fantasy's massive strongholds to life!
