A trade system?
 
Can you establish trade routes with other players like your friends? And can your friends help you when your under attack? That would be nice and help form groups of cities/nations as well as a game community that most mmos have.

Trading is in the game, and you will be able to trade resources and units with other players (Not entirely sure on the units part) and NPC tradesmen will give you better deals in certain cities during certain seasons. Stone might cost 60 gold for 50 nearby, but might be 50 for 50 from the dwarves.

Is there going to be a shipping time appended to resources? the farther away the more time it gets to you. or is it going to be like wow where the mail always takes an hour no mater where you sent it from?

I would say it would take longer the greater the distance. Seeming as it would make sense since how would you recieve items within an hour from the otherside of the world. On the otherhand it also wouldn't make sense either for a city that is not very far away to have to wait hours and hours when theoretically it should be there with 1 or 2.

WIll we be able to trade to Other factions? example: Im Elves and trade with orcs/Humans

It would make sense for trades to take longer depending upon the distance. Kind of like tribal wars. Seeing as how this is a medevil game and there arent futuristic transporters and such in game =]

Is there something in place to prevent a single person from using multiple accounts, and then trading with themselves?

If someone is willing to pay for the game multiple times and help himself out rather then with friends/allies personally i don't really see issue. If you give too much you wont be able to defend the other ones. there's lots of other banes trying to micromanage several kingdoms, especially if you wanted to have a 'main' one.

Ive seen other games that do a trade/reinforce distance like evony, where the longer the distance the longer the transaction(there and return time). or maybe its too far and you don't have enough food/space to make the journey.

It'd be nice to be able to trade regardless of race dependent on storyline. People are greedy and greed could make the most bigoted person think about trade with someone who might be considered less desirable.

Id personally love to be able to set up trade route with my friends and allies, also would there be any restrictions on what race's you could trade with dependent on which race you are playing as?
