<img style="padding-right:3px;" align="left"src="http://www.dawnoffantasy.com/icons/photoicon.png" />Today`s Patch 24 B marks an important milestone - after months of non-stop work - we can finally say we have eradicated 95% of game stopping bugs.

With release of today`s patch our goal of making Kingdom Wars bug free is nearly achieved, with just a few more fixes left - that will be included in the upcoming Empire Expansion pack.

And talking about Empire expansion - we are planning the release towards second half of April, as the team works around the clock to add more and more awesome features. To make this expansion truly game changing, we are adding things like brand new user interface or new awesome alliances features - like sending reinforcements during battles.

Please keep in mind that today`s huge patch might create some minor new bugs - and if you happen to see something odd please let us know on the forums, and we`ll be sure to fix these new issues as soon as possible.


Patch # 24 B

:::::Major Fixes and Additions:::::
-Improved unit pathfinding - always keeping formation and not stacking in one spot
-Updated Orcish Homeland wall design - large wooden wall now has no gaps
-Fixed all issues with units resetting allocated skill points
-Fixed issues with Wizard units sometimes having 100% resistance
-Fixed last remaining bugs that would break user interface
-Fixed issues with players getting attacked during loading screen
-Fix issues with Losing PvP not giving crowns to the losing player
-Fixed Homelands showing wrong strength value and getting attacked by weaker armies
-CoOp siege now gives correct reward, no more easy crowns
-Fixed rare massive lag spikes on the world map
-Fixed lag spike when selecting homeland on the world map
-Fixed Connection Timed Out error when running second CoOp battle

:::::Minor Fixes and Additions:::::
-Fixed issues with extra lag on selecting large group of units
-Players can`t be attack for two minutes after loading the homeland level
-CoOp sieges now shows expected win crowns amount with mouse over the Fight button
-Fixed issues with player units loosing self-healing skill while defending Homeland
-Fixed issues with ships in NPC Town sieges - including ships getting destroyed, or floating in the air
-Fixed issues with Human and Elven stronghold wall design - specifically Elven Bolforesl and Human Wold designs.
-Victories and Losses in Quests no longer count towards player Profile count
-New professional German translation for tutorial and other in-game text
-Wolves on a homeland can be permanently exterminated after completing first layer of walls
-Archers now have all resistance upgrades on creation, and will not reset resistance skills
-Fixed Fores spirit disappearing from the homeland
-New Sound Volume control in the Options
-Improved Orcish and Human Diplomacy cineamtic as well as Dintalla town cinematic screen

:::::Balance Adjustments:::::
-Nokkrasol level made much harder - adding a lot of additional soldiers
-Increase amount of crowns some NPC towns give in Solo siege
-CoOp NPC towns siege now gives just a few more crowns compared to Solo siege
-Default Magic Spells ranged greatly reduced
-Wizards now have Range upgrade that increases spell cast range
-Spell Ice Wall - reduce duration by 30%
-Spell Sphere - reduced resistance to 95% and increased cool-down time
-Adjusted Elven economy wood generation - stopped issues with super high wood production rates

We are releasing a very small addition today, no server restart, it should be live in a few minutes.

Patch 24 C
-Fixed Large Gatehouse displaying upgrades like oil pots in the wrong location
-Fixed rare issue with Tower Construction not finishing
-Fixed rare issue with player unable to invite others to CoOp
-Fixed last instance of repeating Camp Location pop-up during solo NPC sieges
-Improved pathfinding for workers gathering resources
-Reduced homeland loading PvP protection timer to 1 minute

Can someone please try to Hotfix 4 'bugged' Large Towers in my Elven City Gondolin.

2 Locations are Large Towers build onto a Default Plot;
2 Locations are Large Towers build into another Large Tower.

I have attached a screenshot with the location of 3 out 4 Large Towers. The 4th Tower is at the dead end. The large arrow is pointing in that direction.

Thanks for fixing many of the bugs. :)

still having that same resource bug i talked to you about kon, any news on that? the sound recently fixed so i can atualy hear the game now, but the combat seems to be lagging more than it used to aswell.

good patch though!

Yeah - this is something we had to temporary enable as we are hunting down last performance draining bugs.

any news on the resource bug fix? i thought that it was over once i heard sound for the first time ever :(...and are there any orc related secrets you can share? some of us have a guide to update and very little to actually update with!

We are releasing a small follow up patch. It should be out in 15 minutes or so. There WILL BE A SERVE DOWNTIME - for just 5 minutes give or take.

-Greatly improved performance on low end PCs especially in combat
-Fixed mouse cursor issues due to windows settings
-Improved combat sounds during massive melee battle

:::::Minor Fixes and Additions:::::
-Added daily limit on sending Alliance invites
-Limit on daily invites is shown on the Invite and +Alliance buttons
-Added new Gameplay Option: to show or hide Alliance invites
-Fixed Wizard of the Deep Teleportation spell
-Wizards now show spell range % increase when mouse over the spell button
-Fixed cavalry interrupting Dragon animations

i returned to game today and saw dintallas reward was 12 crowns is it that low for all cities because if it is im done wih the game since i dont have time to siege cities 200 times to collect crowns

No, rewards are based on the difficulty of the city. Siege harder cities for bigger rewards. If you are raiding Orcs I would suggest you try one of the following cities: Nokkragol, Ral Nistro, Pultak or Makkada.

Wow your leaving the game because they made you work for your elites? this game is so easy you can have everything in 2 months time, compare that to other hardcore games that require huge amounts of effort, it's really not that bad. you can win a siege in 5 min with the right army, thats 12 sieges in 1 hour for a total of 144 crowns in an hour, thats not bad! combine that with the 50 crowns you can get from gold and your sitting at 200 a day with only an hours investment, and thats enough to buy 1 of anything in the game.

no i thought all cities were around 10 :)
