View Full Version : Crashes during battles and in world map

Hi,

I actually have 4 main issues that I want to address

1st: As an orc player, I've upgraded to Wooden Walls yeat my palisade wall and the gatehouse keeps toggling on the Gate (basically what I mean is that the gate shuts itself). I only get this problem solved through alt tabbing to be able to click on "Toggle Gate" so that it reopens.

2nd: I've been getting weird crashes during gameplay, before winning a battle (talking about 1 or 2 batallions left) I get the "dof.exe isin't responding". I tried the guide that I saw on the forums and in my eyes it just got worse. Running Windows 8 at the current moment.

3rd: I've been experiencing weird lags when I made those changes to my 2nd problem, I thought at first they were FPS problems even though my computer is a high end computer, but after lowering them I came to a conclusion it was just ordinary lag spikes, I've already given the game alot of bandwith to work with from my 100/10 internet connection but it seems that it doesn't go away at all.

4th: From time to time after returning a quest I can't walk on the world map at all, even after a game restart the bug is persistent. I've solved this by pressing the View Battle Map, and going back to the World Map, but as you might imagine it gets annoying when it does happen.

In the attachments I've uploaded the log files after my recent crash. I hope they'll shed some light onto what is going on.

Thank you in advance

Hyun

Hey mate!

I'm really sorry cause of problems that you are experiencing. Thanks for posting logs, and as a first step i recommend you to check this thread, and do steps that are "problem solvers" for most crash issues:

Hey Zvonzi,

As I mentioned above, I used that very thread to try and solve my crash issues and also wrote that in my eyes the crashes got worse. I reverted back to using the default settings and it seems to happen much more rarely now.

I'm glad changing your settings has helped with your crashes greatly. We are looking into this and wan't to make sure no one else is crashing because of steam version or anything else causing bad fps or performance issues.
