I am not sure what version of the forums DOF is running, so some of the mods may not be available. Most of the mods I will be suggesting are for vBulletin 4.2.x

EDIT: I just looked at the page source and saw that his was running on 3.6.4. Pretty old version and really havent seen too many sites using in a while. It might be worth the upgrade to version 4.x.x. Also who would I contact about something that would need to be more on the private side?

Community Based Mods
Post Thank/Like (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=243510)
This mod will add a thank you or like button to each post. This can effect reputation if it is set to do so. I personally like it due to the fact that it shows how useful the post was.

Image Resizer (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=237650)
This will allow large images to be scaled down to a smaller size. Then if the full size images needs to be viewed, you can click on the header of it and it will expand. This will cut down on large images taking up so much space on forum posts.

Steam Connect (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=266883)
The mod will allow users to login with their steam ID or link their steam account to their existing to account to login with it.

Thread Admin or Group Moderators (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=281850)
Threadmins and Group Moderators is a self moderation system that allows threads to be moderated by the user that created them. Users can be given permissions to edit, delete, sticky, open/close or be immune to such actions. Also it allows users to be assigned as moderators to a single thread or to a single Social Group discussion and allows usergroups to be assigned as moderators to forums.

This could be used for if the alliances get their own forums.

Support Based Mods
microSupport (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=254336)
This is a mod that is a FAQ and Support ticket system in one. Its based within the forums and also turns a part of the forums into a ticket system.

vBAnswers (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=293596)
vBAnswers is a mod that's especially helpful if you run a tech support forum, or any other forum where your users pose questions to other members for them to answer.

It lets them quickly identify which posts have been marked as the solution to the issue, and also rewards users who post helpful posts via points, as well as trophies displayed next to their usernames.

vBForms (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=287061)
Dragonbyte Forms is a mod that forces users to fill out a form before posting threads in select forums.

For instance, you can use it to create a "support ticket" system like the one we have on DragonByte-Tech.com, or simply gather common information.

A powerful alert system lets you receive emails for each new form filled out, and usergroup permissions control who can manage the forms in the threads themselves.

Staff Based Mods
Advanced Application Mod (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=263944)
This can be used to allow community members to apply for community based jobs or even apply for jobs within the game itself. It does take some time to get it setup, but it is worth it in the end. All of the features are listed within the vbulletin.org thread.
