Hello ;)

Here i launch some suggestions:

--------------------------------------------------- ( 1st idea ) -------------------------------------------------
If Alliances worked like guilds, it was cool it the guild/alliance could have a "hometown" (a bit like a castle) with dimensions in between the hometowns and the big cities(of each race).
Where the players of that alliance would contribute building it.. and its defenses.
This way there could be Guild VS Guild.... where there was a option of some players like 3 of each guild control the assault / defense , or it could be all AI playing.. :) where players could only watch.

other functions:
The alliance keep would allow to train army and buy stuff (basicly) a big city but only acessable to the Alliance members.
--------------------------------------------------- ( 2nd idea ) -------------------------------------------------
Ai invasions:

Most people's objective is to have a fulled walled City.. and Most ppl dont like to pvp there since they need a lot of time to "remodel" the city (repairing , new units train units... bla bla bla)
There should be a "random" event (when online ofc, and not on pvp , sieging) where someone(human, orc, elf) would attack you (AI controlled) , and you could even connect that to some quests, (eg. Menthorns(anti-king faction) Human).
You would get Crowns+Money on winning (Rewards/Number of Enemys and so on depending on the "military power" of your city)

More Ideas soon (when i re-remember them)

Some Dinamic events like this could bring another life to the game :)

agree with all but specifically with the guild alliance city/fortress, It would be nice If people of the smae guild were working together to create a city/fortress, that would be very cool. In fact, the scenario editor could have an important role here, because new maps for town construction should be made specifically for guilds , the sizes would be between the hometowns and the big cities as you said before. What if we, player, contributed with that? I mean, we have the tools to make a map and some people do great maps, if developers wants to add that about the guild town/fortress , maybe they could make some sort of contest where players do their own map for guild cities, and select some of these, there could be some kind of reward such as resources and special units and would encourage people to try the editor.

About the events, that should work. having events in the game would be a nice feature, such as a crusade of players to take down something, the defense of a fortress, etc...
