During our first month of getting this epic launched, we've reached nearly 16,000 players, and are immensely grateful to the community that has been created. May is going to be an exciting month! Starting with this patch, we have many more surprises, giveaways ,and additions to gameplay rolling out as the month progresses. By the end of the month you should be seeing completely reworked path-finding, as well as the long awaited Guild Alliance System, presently being tested on a separate server. And today`s milestone patch completes the circle on balancing the combat, as well as add great number of new features and fixes for last remaining bugs and issues.

Patch # 10

:::::Major Fixes and Additions:::::
-Major changes to game fonts - changing game fonts everywhere in game
-Fixed a rare crash issue on entering View mode, Quest or NPC Town with certain armies
-New Options menu for the Steam client with Resolution, Window Mode, Language
-Dragons and Heroes do not permanently die, but go unconscious and lose levels
-Added Skill Reset button - no cost to players until next patch
-Greatly reduced amount of XP needed to reach higher levels
-Fixed issue with not getting Victory with another player disconnecting
-Fix for being invited to PvP or CoOp while still under PvP protection
-Loot is calculated based on unit cost and level - greatly increased gold income
-Fixed several gameplay/GUI breaking errors from player log reports

:::::Minor Fixes and Additions:::::
-Fixed rare issue with some units hitting 100% resistance
-Fixed issue with skills being upgradeable beyond limit
-Decreased unit button size for radial menus, helps fit more buttons
-Tribal Shaman abilities changed - Shamanic Healing and Blood Purge
-Disable selection and improved targeting issue with Trees
-TeamSpeak message added to Help channel on start
-Goblins gain Hide ability, loose Hold Fire
-Music volume settings should now work, some sound fx will still play at full volume

-Gold price for NPC Training Merchant greatly increased for higher levels
-Heal gives 1.5 per point
-Dragons and Hero levels add 40% less to strength value now
-Elven Fiery arrow now does Magic damage instead of Fire damage

Big patch, tbh i am quite happy about balancements fixes , in the future there will be only minor changes and tweaks, now we focus on guild system

Got out of the window and the game is closed while entering city loading

So.. I deleted local contents and down this game from steam again(I bought this game on steam).

But.. Still the game get out of the window and is closed while entering city loading

Thank you for ur efforts and ur patch.. but what should I do ??

*P.S : Single Play is working..
Online Kingdom -> My second city(elves, forest) is working too
But my main city(Human, Plains/ City name: Camelot) is not working as I worte above..
What's wrong...

I too am having the same exact problem and took the exact same step and also bought the game from steam.... any info that u get would be appreciated and if any1 cold help us that would be awesome

I'm currently have an issue with the fonts not showing up at all on certain areas, most notably the resource area is not displaying, and the quests. SS of that bug as follows:

My offline Kingdom Wars is bugged to the point it loads in and is stuck in the Dwarven Sector no matter what I do, as I am unable to press or click on anything. Screen shot for it is as follows:

What font is used to on the Resource display bar? And the Quests? I think it's a matter of me just not having the font in my system folder. I removed unused fonts for better performance. Faulty coding tho, not having secondary or tertiary fonts tasked. Tsk Tsk.

I just played the elves. (For I cant load the Human, my first race, first city after this patch.)

Whirlwind of Bladestorm still doesnt have the cool down.

Bladestorm can use WhirlWind successively.. continuously.

It's really kind of cheat..

I made the mistake of resetting the skills of a few units (not my main army), and I notice that there is no way to get those units anywhere close to the abilities of my "non reset" units.

My reset mounted Knights have a max resistance of 60/50/50, whilst my non reset units have an actual resistance of 80/75/75. I also notice that my reset ogres are way weaker than my non reset ogres (at least for Health and attack).

bring them outside city and do explore , you will see stats return up. but yeah there is problems with skill reset, imho it reset also upgrades and basic res, so if you not change istance for get it re-applyed you have lower stats

The price for levelling up units is extremely high now.

I don't see the incentive to have PvP fights when it will take weeks to recover from a defeat.

For COMPLETELY IGNORING ME. SUCH A WONDERFUL RESPONSIVE COMPANY! Simple questions, I asked SIMPLE, QUESTIONS! Yet you ignore me completely and answer others. How hard is it to answer the base of fonts that you use so i can fix the problem that YOUUUUUUUUU fudged up. Why is the song "Blame Canada" stuck in my head now? Oh, I know! Cuz it a Canadian's fault.

I had such high hopes when I 1st started playing, now bleh -- I'd rather play damn near anything else, up to and including Diablo 3, which is ACTUALLY SOUNDING BETTER AT THIS POINT. >:l

This patch is a really big smack in the face. Not only has my whole empire turned into dust by armies disappearing, the INCREASE instead of DECREASE of training cost was a really horrible decision. I dont know where that came from, but your driving the car onto the wall atm.

I have to admit that i agreed with Laradon even though i'm quite a big fan of DOF here, Increasing the price of training unit cost is just making less willing to PVP. Basically if you really had a PVP match found. you got all of the units to lvl 20 and actually when most of them tends to die. you will save their lives by Leaving battle? and giving out some resources to save lvl 20 units lives. its not a choice, everyone has a brain will do that. lol. Victory is not really a thing in RTS games. what matter is that an Enjoyable Fight can be found in RTS games. thats what i think.

There is a big problem with resetting skills.

When I reset my royal dragon the basic resistances are 0/0/0.

I also notice that my reset ogres, knights etc are much weaker than those I haven't reset.

1) skill reset fix.

2) whirlwind ability have cooldown 25 second, is displayed BUT NOT WORK! need a fix.

3) dwarf champion deadly strike ability have 25 sec cooldown but not work like whirlwind!

5) dragons start with 0% res instead the one i put them on files, and with 0% res for skilling up you run out of points leaving almost nothing for stamina. (heroes start with theyr basic res wich is unfair)


6) reverse training augment, since is too high player not appreciate it at all

7) when dragons and heroes die lets make them lose only 1 level not all, becouse tbh keep them alive after maybe lost 60 level is irrilevant in term of cost for the player.



this is some of the points i presented to Konstantin wich is the boss for the next patch

If you are playing under steam, the game does not seem to care if you use their login or not, so you appear to be able to download the client direct and the run the non steam version with the same credentials

Guys,

Once again - sorry - that was a royal screw up. While only under 9% of players were effected or experienced any sort of issues - these who did got hit hard.

This could not have happened at the worst time - as most of the development team final decided to take a weekend off. We have cut off the time off short and been at it for hours now - working on a hot fix patch to fix all of the issues, and try to restore everything - either later tonight, or Tuesday morning.

Also - everything lost can be gained back either by talking to mods, or emailing support@reverieworld.com

Also keep in mind - if your town is completely bugged - merged walls from other race, or just not GUI - Do Not Delete the town - it`ll start working after the hot fix.

We are NEVER patching on Friday`s again.
