View Full Version : Co-Op Issues (Army size?)

Ok well I've branched my army down to a smaller size, and I am within 1 strength of my friends army, he is standing RIGHT next to the location I want to start the mission up on. Upon request to start the mission, I type his name (says hes online in my friends list) and attempt to invite him into the mission, using half of the 30 slots for myself, with my reduced army it says that he doesn't have a suitable army for this location. Would someone mind walking me through this process? Does the game take into account the entire force size - is that why is saying hes not suitable? Is it because I've split my forces up so close to the quest?

Throw me a bone.

I'm just having a real hard time getting into a co-op battle with my bud, which is about 40% of the reason I bought this game.

If you were doing the NPC town - it would have worked just fine - since you are using your entire army, BUT - when you are doing a quest - it`s only counting the strength of the units you are sending on a quest. I would suggest creating a new army just with the units you are sending on a quest, so you know exactly what it is. And keep you mind your friend army can be +-50% in strength.

Just a quick follow up for some of you other guys having trouble with Co-Op battles, helps it BOTH you and your buddy exit the game COMPLETELY before attempting a Co-Op battle, for some reason I feel that army strength needs minor updating in regards to getting the correct values. I think that when you log back in this helps kind of to refresh the Co-Op situation and was the only way I could enter into a Co-Op battle with a friend... once we both matches our army size, a complete exit, then play...

Good luck have fun.
