View Full Version : Lack of online support.

Guys the only issue i can majorly pick up on at them monent is the lack of help for new players,
The last thing new players want to do is go to the forums with questions about there factions, how to do something ect. they just want to play the game.

Would it not be a good idea to appoint mentors,
People that are active on the game often, one or two people from each faction and post there names on the forums. this way people will know who to keep an eye out for In-game to ask for tips/help.

There is a good community out there so i think people would love to help.

Let me know what you think.. As this would benifit the game in general and stop people having to wait long times when devs ect are not available..

Love you :)

Actually I think the more Active Players are already Playing Tutor anyways *gg*
At least they did so usually.

I personaly agree with this notion, I've been playing since mid/late beta and I've noticed a lack of help when the experienced players are not on or are generaly too busy with killing eachother in sieges. the only real way to for this to fully work on steam and with the tons of new players it will atract, is to have people at the ready to answer questions and or jump into a quest/siege to help them get used to the game. ;)

Yeah this will make sense once the game is out on Steam - I`m not sure about the best way to go about this - aside from myself or other team members trying to get online as much as possible to answer the questions.

I'm on whenever I'm not at work but elf and Orc is not my strong point.
