Laying siege to other player's castles

I'm considering coming back and giving DoF another look.

One question I need to know the answer to, as I'll be bringing back a small group of friends if I do come back...

If I build a castle, can my friends use the new "player search" PvP feature to attack my castle? What intrigues us is the opportunity to build castles and then bring our armies against each other's devious defense designs.

Or is the PvP mode simply some kind of open field skirmish where we each bring an army and fight it out?

Yeah - the new specific player search function works well - and it is more fun to PvP with it.

from what i remember u get to choose the type of pvp match when searching - not sure about the specific search, i would guess it depends where his army is when u search

but that's just from what i've read, ive not played this game in ages, still waiting for the path finding before i retry - having my entire army stood ontop of eachother is just too annoying for me :)
