Ave all.
Perhaps it would be appropriate to introduce my person now when I finally decided to join these forums after some time of simple waiting for DoF to show up in stores and occasional visits to the main site in search for release info.
I’m 22 years old and obviously I live in Poland. As for interests, well those are quite wide, to name few hmn; a light history fascination (ancient Greece, Rome, WWII) but my weak spot is reserved for M&A, really good cRPG, cRTS games, some shooters and not very often now MMORPG’s.
There is also my hobby, a tabletop Mechwarrior/Battletech (such truly climatic universe), and rarely I even take part in airsoft matches with local group (in a present day german uniform, I have always admired their WWII equipment).
DoF got my attention with it’s great trailer, sieges and idea of possessing a town that will never completely vanish and it can’t be attacked while owner is offline (so I won’t wake up at night screaming “Gate is breached, enemy is inside!” hehe :p ).
I must admit, what I find here written on forum; all those game details about morale, exp, stances, fortification upgrades etc. etc. are very promising indeed.
Well that’s quite enough, I hope this game will be successfully released asap (in my country also) so I can add it to my collection and of course play it online :) .
K.A.
