View Full Version : Livestock and siege weaponry

Two questions from a new player:

1. Livestock need to fatten before they're good to use. How long does this take? Can I speed the process? Is there a graphical change of some sort to indicate their fatness?

2. At my armory there is a button for 'spawn catapult'. When I press it, nothing happens. How does this work? Does it take a long time?

You can kill them at any time you want and I'm not sure all grows bigger but some animals do. There are research to speed it up.

I'm guessing thats the orc armory and if so you need to throw in a unit to make it like usual. That confused me for days too since there is nothing in game that tells you that.

My wargs have the research for faster growing available, but I was wondering if I have to feed them or something.. Or if they became like the wargs for riding when fat.

For the catapults, is it a worker I put in?

I don't think they get quite as big as the rider wargs but they grow quite alot. It's very noticeable when comparing a newborn with one that is a few days old. No need to feed them or anything. Building more then one building can be a good idea if you want many.
Worker or marauder I think. I only ever used it once myself(buying from camps is easier then waiting for spawn most of the time).
