Heroe Bugged!

I got the movie bug from the quest giver in town. I alt+tab out, closed dof then restarted. after I re-entered my town my heroe had went from lvl 41 to lvl 15 with unnassighned skill points. PLEASE HELP! I dont wish to work my heroe all over again!
