Ok so I am a little confused on how pvp protection works. So far I started a new homeland on rolling plains, I have it built up completely except the walls, also never did any quests outside my homeland...so still on peasant revolt. At the moment im bolstering my army and lvling my hero and Royal. But I want to be sure well im focusing on non pvp stuff atm that I dont get pvp'ed in the middle of my prep project to rule in pvp later....
I want to buy pvp protection every 48 hours but so far its greyed out....most likely because I have not built my wals and thus my homeland atm is not attackable?
But does that main I cant be targeted for pvp from my army if I have not built my walls or progressed in the story?
And when I do have pvp protection on, does it stop homeland pvp and army pvp?

why so scared of pvp ?
if someone attacks you just... decline
you will have to pay him off for some goods... but well... if ur so bussy building you shouldnt have much for the attacker to take anyways

scared of pvp no, I am a person that likes to be completely prepared and battle ready when i fight, no half a$$ed fights, that maybe fun for you but not for me. when you pay off, its quite costly and annoying. I want to just pop out of no where being an advanced Empire that's ready for action and time to build tactics and find what works and what does not. Again I am just a person that requires to do it this way...I want to do this and that's the way its going to be.
Think whatever you want of it but once I am ready which I will once more patches to come out so its smooth.

i think your missing my point
what i'm trying to say is why would you care if someone attacks your castle if you get a option to decline the fight at cost of a few resources ?
i mean what is 500 gold compared to spending wealth on pvp protection ?
and after you pay off the attacker you get 30min of pvp protection by default so
its like spending resources instead of wealth on protection which in my point of view = win win
i rather keep my wealth for buying dwarfs or dragons
and if you are really anal about loosing resources just make a army of horsecarts to store resources in
that's what i do at least
Curious i have not seen any players on the map yet so how do we know where they are and how do we locate them / they locate us?

its a matchmaking system
you don't see players on your map
every army / city has a strength value and the matchmaking system just searches for someone who matches your army / castle its strength to put you up against
