In the 12 days leading up to Christmas, we thought it would be fun to decorate the forums a bit with some new user group colors and ranks! The Orc, Human, and Elven sects have been replaced with festive new themes, as seen below. If you wish to change sects or adopt one for the first time, check out Ryan's post (http://www.reverieworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2027) for instructions!
As always, each sect has a hierarchy of ranks based on the user's post count, scaling from 0 to 1,000+ posts. The three new sects are:
<font color="#4CE0DD">Around the World in 12 Days</font>
Experience the holidays with traditions all across Europe! Google these ranks to learn how other cultures celebrate the holidays!
0: Yule Lad (Scandinavia)
10: Zwarte Piet (Netherlands/Belgium)
25: Mikulás (Hungary)
50: Befana (Italy)
75: Krampus (Austria)
100: Joulupukki (Finland)
150: Ded Moroz (Russia)
300: Père Noël (France)
500: Old Man Winter (Germanic Anglo-Saxon)
1,000: Father Time (personification of time seen in ancient cultures throughout the world)
<font color="#FF1052">The Reindeer</font>
0: Max the Rein-Dog
10: Dasher
25: Dancer
50: Prancer
75: Vixen
100: Comet
150: Cupid
300: Donner
500: Blitzen
1,000: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
<font color="#00CC17">The North Pole</font>
0: Mall Santa
10: Leonard the Polar Bear
25: Elf
50: Jack Frost
75: Frosty the Snowman
100: Buddy the Elf
150: Abominable Snowman
300: Bernard, the Head Elf
500: Mrs. Clause
1,000: Santa Clause
The holidays are always a touchy subject, but please know that we are trying not to alienate anyone or impose anything. :) All ranks are based on Christmas-related folklore as it is the most widespread, but are not explicitly religious. The "Around the World" ranks are based on specific cultural traditions, while the other ranks derive from popular culture, including songs and movies such as The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Elf, and The Santa Clause.
Enjoy and happy holidays! And while you're at it, check out the Holiday-themed Screenshot Design Competition (http://www.reverieworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4890)!
