View Full Version : Lost units and other weirdness

After completing the elven "kill the orcs and harm the traitor" (don't remember the exact name of it) quest and walking back to my town I've gotten a couple of weird bugs. First I couldn't enter my town, neither by transferring units nor by garrisoning them. On the world map they gave the impression of being in the city/garrisoned, but when I entered the city they weren't there.

I tried logging out and back in again to see if that would fix anything, but that just made it worse. Then my hero, whom I had transferred into the city, was there, but no other units. Going out to the world map mode I could see my army that was garrisoned, but with no units. I may or may not have transferred them to try and see if that changed anything, but in either case, they were neither in the city nor the army. In either view. In the army view was some resources, but that was all.

I tried exiting the application and then started it again and logged in. This time my hero was in the town, there was no army in the world view at all (nor any of the units that had been in the army anywhere to be seen). My hero, who previously was at level 9 was now at level 15.

My user name is: feneur
Slot: 1
City name: Arcania

I've attached log2 which seems to be the one that was written as the first things happened, and log1 which was generated when I exited and restarted DoF. Hmm, no I haven't it says upload failed. I'll upload them instead:

http://feneur.com/stuff/dof/Log2.7z 7zipped since the server didn't seem to like such a big text file for some reason.

After logging in today and talking to Noltas I got the "travel to cities and buy stone" quest several times. Not that I'm complaining as that essentially gave me a bunch of unicorns =) But thought you may want to look into it. I've attached log1.txt and log1.txt(1) (I added .txt at the end since the forum didn't seem to enjoy the .txt(1) extension :P ), I'm not 100% sure which one is the useful one as I continued to play for a while. (I have renamed the log2 and log3 files which seems to be from more or less the right time, so if the above doesn't give the least clue I could upload them. Log2 is 2 MBs though, so I Couldn't attach that.)
