Im having a similar problem. I bought it from impulse. When I try to run the game, it doesnt do anything. The game doesnt run. it doesnt even begin to load up. It doesnt do anything.

my updater crashes at 4files remaining

updater is the most instable ive ever seen from when i was born

anyway u have to restart updater as times as it crash util it will end upgrade

from bout 3,4 restart it should be completed
