i was thinking

like said if you lose a siege you restart a fews games back with your built castle

well oddly id rather lose it :D because its adds to the fun to know all you built can go down if you don't fight hard enough

so i propose a hardcore server where if you lose well im sorry sir but your empire falls simple as that

please discuss i fail to notice the downfalls in this but im sure you guys can come up with some

I pledge my support too for this:) . It'd add more "emotion" to the last desperate cavalry charge out of the gates when all is lost.

Who knows, maybe we'll make this an option when the player creates his/her city.

You have to kill all enemy forces to win an army battle, and lose all to lose. And if you lose, you lose.

If you lose something during a homecity defense, I guess it'd be all lost. If you lose your town hall...you lose your town hall. Gg.

You guys need to add some disclaimer in your signatures so you dont have to write Disclaimer: everytime you post something that your thinking about adding in.

I hope you know what i mean.

Just so you know, Feweh, that's actually very bad advice.

You don't put disclaimer information in your signature for the same reason you wouldn't staple a physical disclaimer to a warrantee. If it came detached, you could potentially get into a barrel of trouble. The disclaimer info should be a part of the same body of data which contains the information it is disclaiming. Since most forums store signature information separately from the posts they refer to, this potentially could leave the post and disclaimer information disassociated at a later date.

Darvin I swear you sound like some philosopher, every other post you make sounds like your one of the smartest people I've heard of.

I was thinking the same thing, except it is a bad thing. Just explain things in a simple way.

Lol, that reminds me of a lesson we had in English the other day. My teacher basically said not to use sentences or words that are too elaborate and, in general, unnecessary. I'm not saying you do that Darvin, I just think that this kind of thing is mentioned now.

Well I wasn't outright saying it was a bad thing lol. I admit I usualy don't get a majority of what you say=/. I am quite a simple guy lol.

its also adds meaning to saying you there ill detroy unless you pay me and/or become my vassal

well in normal mmo you can say no lose and be back 3 days dingle berriers i lost so much... right?

BUT IN HARDCORE you gotta think .... im weak shes strong she can destroy me in 3mins or i can join her empire hmmmmm

i think a hardcore server would overall be a bit more interesting got the players ''hardcore'' enough to actually play in that server

I'd like it as an option. I still would prefer a draw in some instance though. The problem comes in when it's the other player deciding if he wants to accpet the tie.

well u can always bribe him/her into accepting the tie

overall i think the ''hardcore'' mode would make this game alot more interesting online

just to remind everything its an option like u log on and u can pick hardcore or normal

i would like if reverie said something on this =\

please?

Im in favour of this. It WOULD add depth to your strategies as you couldnt afford a siege on your capital and as you said it would make vassalage important.

well the normal planned mmorpg mode is configured to my knowledge this way

* if your defeated in mmorpg mode as in you lose your capital or starting base you are set 3 days back (im not quite sure the set number of days) *

in the hardcore server idea

* if you lose your capital or main base you are completely defeated and must rebuild your empire *

I think it would add much more depth to mmorpg mode as others agree
and maybe if you can build multiple cities you wont be wiped out if your other cities still stand

i may not have explained this very well for im not darvin or puppeteer lol

Technically without an actual threat of losing your capital there would be no vassalage so I fully support this suggestion.

what would be cool if you could do like guildwars >< where multiple members of 1 guild defend their guildcapitol agains other guilds. And if the attack wins they get major spoils or so.

The Witch King of Angmar

I agree with this. By defending, you could get bonuses such as better terrain and by attacking maybe a speed bonus or something.
