PVP Out of Sync

Lately it happens often that the PvP gets out of Sync
Or that a loading battle is just dropped with an error



Just today
I fought someone
Killed about 2 thirds of his Army and then the game went out of sync

I am out lucky since I had no complete squad lost


But neither side got any Influence
nor any Loot

The other Guy lost large parts of his Units as they were eliminated by me



For me a Waste of Time without any Reward
for him a Waste of alot of Units and Ressources on top of that




I know this will take a while to fix as network problems are always sticky stuff


until then I would ask for a Temporary solution

for example make it so that if theres out of Sync Error or something like that
the Loot is split half to half and both get influence points as if they had lost the battle

since this is honestly annoying
dont even want to know how the other guy feels about it
bet hes ****ed tough

happend to me here too. And my biggest issue with out of sync is that it keeps messing up my screen which is HORRIBLE!. i end up seeing all the city names on my screen even if I am in pvp,home screen or main menu screen afterI logout

And for Heavens sake
add a Button to Stop the Searching for Enemys !!!!

It gets stuck and you cant do anything since theres no option to stop



since it neither finds one nor gets the none found result
it just searches forever

you cant do anything but tab out of the game and crash the process !!!!



Pls just add some Button to that
or make an max limit which will force stop the search



My Stats so far
16 tries on doing a Battle
2 times attacked

of that
2 times Battles Won
1 times Battle out of Sync after half of enemy was eliminatet while I did not lose a single squad
4 times out of Sync Error about half minute after battle startet
3 times battle closed before battle even loaded
7 times I ended up crashing the process as it searched forever and could not be stopped
1 time I payed out since I only had Peasants as the Army which got attacked was at power of 30 .....


I am sure you notice
I had TWO Battles out of EIGHTEEN trys

I know its difficult to do Networking Issues
but as this wont be fixed soon
pls at lease give some workarounds

And if you can, what units did the elves have? We think the problem might be in the elves. if it goes go out of sync please try to post your log1.txt files that are in your main directory.

in a battle between me and arkantos we got out of sync, he is an elf.. Tho this out of sync happens vs all races for me this far

I don't think it's elves issue.I'm a elf and i don't encounter this sync problem EVERY time but most of the time. Also I even encountered while fighting orcs or humans. The big issue for me is that every time it happens,my screen gets messed up with all the names of the cities on my screen.

As I said already
Networking Issues are big Work
I am sure you know this yourself

Finding the Issue is already a time taking task
and Fixing it will most likely be just as difficult


So for the Time Being Pls get us some Workarounds

Putting a Maximum Timer for Searching which will Force it down should not be much work

Well Making a Draw Possible when Battle Ends before someone has Won might be more Difficult
but as the Game is already recognizing the Error it should be possible to trigger it by that flag and thus it might be a way to at least lessen the pressure on the players for now.

Ingame Errors can also sometimes cause out of sync. Your log may have those errors that i need to fix the issue. Not all errors cause out of sync only some.

If one player has encountered an error before the game began and the other player did not, the odds of the game going out of sync increases. ;)

I just fixed one of those in orc marauder.

wont be a problem seeing that far over half of my trys to find pvp end in one of those ...




as a sidenote
now my Hero Vanished
I relogged
and my Hero stood at the estate being lvl 1



I also keep expecting the Pre Order Code today
but nothing happens

there should have been a patch yesterday fixing my Gate but nothing comes up



awww sorry I know I am annoying but right now I am pretty agitatet ....
too much things going wrong with this game today ....

Well then

I actually have a Hunch


I noticed this

IN ALL Battles which crashed
there was one thing in Common
both sides had their Hero along

IN ALL Battles which worked fine
there was the contrary in Common
Only 1 or no Side had an Hero along



I keep testing it and funnily my trys to get a PvP Battle so far are

100% of my Battles Without Hero went fine
less then 10% of my Battles with Hero along end without Crash or Sync Error



Ok now then
I took the Hero along and see here
It keeps searching and searching and searching

After 5 minutes of being unable to move anything I crashed the Client

Well and just as we tried
I get another Bug
This time pretty easy to see the reason


I got attacked while Searching for an Enemy

This has Resultet in the following events

I got forced into screen of Fight or Pay Off
However as the Search Window was still Up I could not click on anything

Thanks to that I could look at the counter running down till it automaticly payed the enemy off
after that I got stuck on World Map still searching for enemys ....

If you ask me
the Trigger to stop the Search is not Working right at all

It should stop searching when
1. Someone has been Found (One of two Triggers Working
2. Nobody has been found (Second of two Triggers Working
3. Timer Expired (dont know if this even exists
4. You get Attacked (should exist at least I hope so but its not working
5. You Press Stop Button (does not exist for sure

well then
I.ll look what this ****ing bug has paid off to the other guy
needless to say I am ****ed that my losses to Bugs are much higher than my losses to all enemys together I had so far .....


after that I.ll most likely be ****ed and close the game
hopefully when I log in tomorrow there will be at least pre order bonus available

since I am not too interestet in playing any more pvp with the bugged system .....
