i hope it's not, personally retail with expansions and such are not a problem for me. what i don't like is the item mall, that's no fun at all why not just a monthly subscription fee? with f2p included so people can test it and tell there friends... and so on that's a good and cheap way of accurate advertisement right? so you have a subscription server and a f2p server where some units and features are disabled, also piracy will be reduced if the game has monthly subscriptions (i guess?) :)

um what does piracy has to do with the game anyways?usually you have to buy the game to play it .And keygens and other things don't work for online games.Look at guild wars.Although I don't mind mall AS LONG as we don't buy advantages.

Guild wars has an item mall...and DoF will too. I don't think an online game can survive just off box or digital sales. Probably why GW implemented one, further in it's game age.

But as far as I know, the stuff in the item mall won't be overpowered. Like the dragons you can buy, will still be defeated using certain units and strategies. Plus dragons from what a dev said, take up a lot of army points. I think 20 army points? Which is quite a lot.
