Using the trebuchet

I've trained some trebuchets in my town , i was hoping to use it to attack other npc cities . I cant use them in my army . All other siege units work fine , but for some reason I can’t send trebuchets outside my town .
Is there a way to fix it?

It's a bug. As far as I know there's no fix atm.

its fixed, just not in beta yet sadly, buy a dwarf cannon. :P
