Gentlemen,
Here`s another weekly batch of screenshots. This time showcasing just random good looking aspects of Dawn of Fantasy - like various Stronghold designs, fog particle effects, high zoom out levels, couple of campaign shots - random:) And by the way - dawnoffantasy.com was updated with all the latest screenshots.
Human Army camp.

Just a nature shot - shows 3d level design work - mountains to-scale to other in-game objects.

And to end on a high note - 3 human stronghold designs. This one here shows a good use of a water moat.

This Stronghold is built on top of a mountain - have a bit of Rohan feeling to it:).

This one is Dagbor - from single-player campaign.

Beautiful as always. Great fog. :)
Are those army camp elements (tents, towers, camp fires) placed randomly, preset or set by the player?
Similar question about the outer villages. Already existent or built by the player?

Love the castles. The turrets which extend across the moat are nice touches, but I do have to wonder if that is an unnecessary liability to siege towers/ladders?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's to balance out the fact that those moats probably make sieges a living nightmare (for the attacker of course). :)

Well thats what they're meant to do, to give the attacker a nightmare :p

Amazing!!!!!!!!! I love how you can use the terrains to create a unique castle as well as to use them to your advantage. Keep up the great work.

I hope I can get one. Even if I don't get one, I'll buy the game anyway and wait for it. :D

Another comment so as not to stray too far off topic: I really like the curved walls - how much influence will the player have on the walls' placement?

Most of the camp and castle props are placed randomly. Tents, buildings, palisades etc. aren't placed randomly though.

I love the defensive elements you guys put in when building the fortress'. B4ME2 had something like that when showing off screens and movies but ingame it was non-existent.

More like useless and a waste of resources.
