Hey folks,
it seems that we've been getting a lot of spam bots on the site lately. Some of them may be bots while others are people hired to register and create legitimate sounding posts while posting links to inappropriate/infected sites following their post or in their signature (although the latter fails as we do not allow links in the signatures).
Fact is, I just came on the forum and had to remove three of them. And that's a lot for one sweep, so we clearly need to work together to make this easier for all of us (although mainly me).
I'd like to encourage you all to report these posters to me by personal messaging me (or Puppeteer or Witch King, but I don't know how active those guys have been lately), giving me a link to their post or the thread and page that they've posted in.
That way you will help everyone around you by helping me help you help us all (?). I'll be able to find them faster and remove them as it takes a while to go through every single new thread to check (there's been a lot of forum activity lately). I'll give you a reputation point if you report a spammer for me.
