FANTASY FRIDAY XL
Human and Orcish Ships
Hello everyone!
So you're probably wondering why this Fantasy Friday is on a Saturday. I really tried all day to get it up earlier, but my PC crashed and I wasn't able to get it repaired in time and wasn't having any luck with Windows on my Mac - more info in the RSP thread. But anyways, I hope you accept my apologies and enjoy today's FF nonetheless. :) I'm still without a PC, but I'd like to promise you a better showcase as soon as I get back in the game.
For now, we'll be taking a look at some concept pieces for the orc and human ships. And then, once I get everything worked out, we'll add to this showcase with some brand new screenshots of these babies in-game along with, hopefully, the Elven Male Kraken, if he's done in time.
We only have one human ship concept to show off as we've had the other human ships in-game for several years now, but we'll show you them all together soon.
If you haven't already, be sure to check out the Elven Fleet (http://www.reverieworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1558). And thanks a million to Josh Warner, who took the screenshot in the opening banner. :)

The human 'Ship of the Line' is the largest ship on game, able to hold a great number of trebuchets and units to dominate the seas.
<img src="http://reverieworld.com/screenshots/ff40/biremeconcept02.jpg" width="600">
The Bireme is the largest of the Orcish ships, and is ideal for large armies with catapults and other large units.
<img src="http://reverieworld.com/screenshots/ff40/rowboatconcept.jpg" width="600">
The Rowboat is the standard Orcish ship available at all of Gokkholm's harbour towns. Nothing fancy, just an affordable, well-rounded ship.
<img src="http://reverieworld.com/screenshots/ff40/privateer02.jpg" width="600">
With the most primitive of designs, the Goblin Privateer is a small and cheap ship favored by early-game players who are just starting their navies. However, they are easily preyed on by larger ships and krakens when traveling alone.
